Eating disorders are both common and potentially life-threatening, yet they often go unrecognized or misunderstood. Many individuals spend a significant portion of their lives thinking about food, weight, and body image—existing along a continuum that ranges from typical eating behaviors to clinically diagnosable disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED).
